Kickback Coffee are working with Trash Cat to fuel your coffee needs at all our events! Don’t forget to bring a mug as there won’t be any take-away cups available to help reduce our overall waste on the day.

Their Roastery sits in the heart of the Peak District, and they pride themselves on the outdoors. Their aim is to support adventurers of all shapes and sizes, supplying the much-needed caffeine boost to get you outside and exploring. They have even named their signature blend around this theme; The Explorer is for those who want to go outside and experience the fresh outdoors.

Working with Trash Free Trails

Trash Cat is working with Trash Free Trails to submit the data from each event to the State Of Our Trails Report. This is the first report of it's kind, looking at the composition and impacts of terrestrial pollution.

Working with TFT allows Trash Cat be more than 'just a litter pick' we're contributing scientific data and developing an understanding of nature connectedness within the community.

We aim to be a Gold rated TFT Approved event. TFT’s Sustainability Event Accreditation Scheme is a self- assessment tool which allows event organisers to think and be more sustainable not only for the event itself but also encouraging participants to think and be more responsible too.

TFT APPROVED

Why are we saying no take-away cups or try and shop local?

At Trash Cat, we are aiming to reach gold level of the TFT Approved scheme. Below is the main structure to align with this:

PLASTIC FREE - Limit the amount of single use plastic brought in and used during the event.

REFUSABLE - You don’t have to accept doing things in a way that damages the environment. There’s always another way!

REUSABLE - Make best use of what you already have and limit purchasing of entirely new products.

REFILLABLE - Reduce the need for single-use by utilising and encouraging multi-use containers for consumables.

RECYCLABLE - This one is the most obvious, but most easily forgotten! Ensure waste is properly separated and disposed of correctly.
